Our Purchase process

At Grey Oak, we have a very simple, transparent and fluid process where we ensure we provide the customer with every detail from the very beginning to the end of the purchase process. There are no hidden fees and we offer free site visits to all our listed properties.

1) Inquiry

You will have a conversation with one of our sales team members to explain to you the properties currently on sale and  their details.

2) Catalogue

We will then send you a catalogue/guide that fits your investment category

3) Plot Selection

We will share with you a sub-division indicating the available plots.

4) Free Site Visit

After that we will arrange a suitable day for a FREE site visit. For our diaspora clients, we advise you send a representative to view on your behalf or you can use our virtual tours

5) Booking Process

Select the plots you are interested in. Our booking period is 7days to allow the client to do their due diligence for the particular plots chosen. A copy of the title will be issued to the client to assist in the search.

6) Payment Options

We will then discuss the various payment options. For cash buyers – Payment within 30 days whereas for installments it’s as detailed below; All our properties require a deposit of 100,000/= with the balance payable as follows, Nanyuki – 5 months,  Athi river – 9 months and Diani – 11 months.

7) Sales Agreement

We will draft a sales agreement from our lawyers for your review. To do this, we will require several documents; a copy of your ID, a copy of your KRA pin and three(3) passport sized photos.

8) Signing of Documents

The client can sign remotely and courier the signed copies or visit our lawyers offices to sign the documents in person.

9) Payment

The client is required to make a deposit upon signing the sales agreement. We have several means of payment including; Equity Bank Account, SMB Bank Account, Cheques and M-Pesa Paybill Number.

10) Completion

Completion takes place 30days from the date the documents are sent to the land registry for transfer.

Title deed-Sec

11) Title Deed Issuance

After registration, a soft copy of the title deed is sent to the client for verification of the names and the ID numbers. The originals are retained at the office until collection.
